Carbon Wave Gauge - VTI SL Comunicación

It's official! Our Carbon Wave Gauge project, in collaboration with ADECUA , has been selected in the Final Resolution of Precommercial Projects by PORTS 4.0. This marks a significant advance in our mission for innovation and technological development.

The project's goal is to validate a portable measurement device in the port environment for real-time characterization, monitoring, and prediction of wave activity.

The new device will enhance measurement technology to complement the data from tide gauges and oceanographic buoys. The dedicated software, incorporating AI, will aid in the predictive maintenance of structures exposed to waves before storms.

This method offers agility, precision, cost-effectiveness, and versatility, improving safety in ports, vessels, and offshore platforms.
This project will be funded by the public fund Puertos 4.0 from Puertos del Estado.
