Launching CITIes Project - VTI SL Comunicación

This last December, we held a celebration in our facilities of the Technological Leganes Park for the launch of the CITIes Timanfaya Project. CITIes Timanfaya is a revolutionary project that proposes, starting from a technological demonstrator that will be operative in 18 months from today, an autonomous, electrical and cutting-edge technology vehicle for the Vulcan route in the Timanfaya Natural Reservoir, in Lanzarote (Canary Islands).

VTI is one of the key members of the working team headed by University Carlos III of Madrid and “Asociación Española de la Carretera” (Spanish road Asociation), together with 2RK, GMV, SGS, INTA, Albufera and Mapfre. We will offer our wide experience in the testing and actuator fields, and we will give support to the functional tests during the development and its ground implantation.

Last June, the functional prototype has been showed to media, sign of the good practice and path that the project is following.
