Wave Gauges - VTI SL

Wave gauges are the most common solution for determining the height of water in a wave flume/tank. VTI manufactures its own resistive wave level probes with excellent performance and stability.

Each probe consists of 2 thin stainless steel rods that are submerged in water. The conductivity between rods varies with the height of the water and is measured by means of the appropriate electronics. The probes have a BNC voltage output of 0 to 10 V with adjustable output gain.

The electronics are supplied in a rack. The rack has all the necessary connectors and switches and is supplied with 230 V AC. The design is adaptable to the needs of each client.
